Subscription Detective may process account information such as your email address, authentication information, subscription-plan status, and information you choose to provide when using the service.
The current browser scanner is designed to analyze selected CSV files and supported text-based PDF statements locally in your browser. Do not upload or provide information that is not necessary to use the service. Future features that store or process statements on a server will require additional disclosures and safeguards before launch.
Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Subscription Detective does not directly collect or store full payment-card numbers. Stripe may process payment, billing, fraud-prevention, and transaction information under its own privacy terms.
We use service providers for authentication/database infrastructure, hosting, and payment processing. Information may be processed by these providers as needed to operate the service.
We use information to provide accounts and subscription features, operate and secure the service, provide customer support, maintain billing status, and improve reliability.
You may contact us to request help with your account or questions about your information. Some records may need to be retained for legal, fraud-prevention, accounting, or security purposes.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
We may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date above will be updated when appropriate.
